The DeLorean DMC is back with more juice

This prototype EV packs a 260-horsepower electric motors with a 0-60 time of just under 5 seconds and a top speed of 125mph. It also has a range of travel of 100miles. With a price tag of around $100,000,  unfortunately, there’s no flux capacitor, but you do get a leather interior, built-in GPS, an iPhone dock, and those iconic gull-wing doors. With all the negative publicity some pundits have heaped upon electric vehicles as of late, we wonder if perhaps this is the car to change their minds about EVs?
