Stereo Crowd Self Titled Debut

Three’s a crowd, two makes for a Stereo Crowd, and this is one big and powerful sounding album.  Strong rock influence plus Hip Hop and some soulful R&B to smooth it out.  Catchy without being cliche’.  Stereo Crowd’s self titled debut is fun with a side of funk.

Heavy guitar, funky sounds, male/female rap, female/male singing.  Boomin basslines and sweet drumlines keep it groovin start to finish.  The album is definitely designed to be played LOUD.  The type of music that drives a crowd – I hear this album and wish it was being played full tilt live on stage.

The musical variety is excellent, while there is certainly a clear rock undertone the layers seem to stem from any genre at any time.  Very interesting to listen to straight through.  Never gets boring.

In a crowded industry, Stereo Crowd has put out a strong debut, I’m dig-gin it, and you should definitely give em a listen!
