Could it be???? SUPRA returns??

seems that nearly everyday we hear about the much-loved, yet infamous Toyota Supra making a return, but it’s still hard to believe that Toyota will actually be able to pull this one off. There’s plenty of appetite for it among car fans, who simply are craving for the revival of the car, but Toyota has continued to be non-committal and unofficial about it. Now Autoblog is claiming that its concept will be unveiled at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show in January, according to “well-placed members” in the Toyota Team. That isn’t to say that Toyota hasn’t fanned the flames, dropping a number of hints since the late 90′s, including the automaker’s incoming CEO wanting the car back in their line-up. However, after the 2007 autoshow, the financial crisis put their plans on the expected successor, the FT-HS hybrid – with a hybrid drivetrain and 400hp – on ice, which is what we have pictured here. But, is it time for this to be officially rebranded as the new Supra?

UNVEILED: AUDI QUATTRO CONCEPT

In the auto industry, it just may well be the year of the Audi Quattro, which we first caught wind of a couple of months back. Audi has just unveiled an updated Sport Quattro Concept ahead of its official debut at next week’s Frankfurt Motor Show, refreshing a look that was first introduced back in 1984.  In addition to 21-inch alloy wheels and aluminum and carbon fiber body parts, the Audi is also aggressive under the hood with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 TFSI engine producing 560 HP and 516 lb-ft of torque paired with an electric motor that produces its own 150 HP. Combined, this Audi can hit 0-62mph in 3.7 seconds and a top speed of just over 189 mph – and that’s on top of the fact that it can run for 31 miles just on electric power.

Almost three years ago, Tony Starks/Robert Downey Jr. wowed the media at The Avengers film premier by driving in an Acura NSX Concept vehicle. A lot has happened since its first debut, and here is the latest development from Acura NSX Prototype. Far from being complete, yet NSX fans can see that the concept vehicle is now a working prototype, capable of lapping around a racetrack in the dry and wet, sometimes getting sideways.
